Who runs Shorten

Shorten is a link shortener run by Cenner, obrt za računalno programiranje i ostale usluge, vl. Matija Mikulinec, Mikulinci 8, 10010 Zagreb, Croatia (OIB 23152585818, MB 99210363) ("Cenner", "we"). You can reach us at [email protected].

Using Shorten

By creating a short link or opening one, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Shorten turns a long web address into a short one and counts how often it is opened. Links are stored in our database so they can redirect visitors and show statistics.

What you may not shorten

You are responsible for every link you create and share. Do not use Shorten for:

  • malware, phishing, scams or anything that tricks people into giving up passwords, money or data;
  • content that is illegal in Croatia or the EU, or that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy;
  • spam, or hiding where a link really goes in order to mislead.

We may disable or delete any link that breaks these rules, or that we are asked to remove by a court or authority, without notice.

Copyright

Shorten's design, code, name and texts are © 2026 Cenner, all rights reserved. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission. The pages your links point to belong to their owners; we do not claim any rights in them.

Availability

We work to keep Shorten running, but we offer it as it is and cannot promise that it will always be available, that a link will work forever, or that statistics will be complete. We may change or end the service.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damage caused by using Shorten or by the pages that short links lead to. Nothing in these terms limits liability that Croatian law does not allow us to limit, such as for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

Your data

What we record when links are created and opened, and your rights over it, are set out in our privacy and cookies policy.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use Shorten means you accept it. These terms are governed by Croatian law. Disputes go to the competent court in Zagreb, unless consumer law gives you the right to go to a court where you live.
